Welcome to Goole & District RSPCA
Twice the love
These boys have been in care since May and are now 3mnths old. They
are purr-fectly friendly, cuddly boys who love company. We appreciate it
is harder to take a pair on but they are very bonded and eat and sleep
Their personalities are a little different, Ulrich is gentle, sweet natured, Sasha is full of mischief and into everything, but both will make lovely family pets. You can pick them both up and cuddle them, they will seek you out for play time. When you call them the boys will come running for tea time. Inquisitive, full of energy, they are a lot of fun. If you are out for a few hours they will always have each other.
Sasha likes to sofa surf, Ulrich enjoys being a furry paperweight under the table. Whether sitting in the window or patrolling the hallway, neither of them are far away. Sasha and Ulrich like to have mad half hours but also enjoy a peaceful catnap after watching TV with you. They chase balls, play with string & teasers. They are so adorable, we are sure when you meet them you won't be able to resist.
2019 Dog show
£1,250 was raised on Saturday 22nd June at the Goole RSPCA Dog Show,
with more monies to come in. A very busy afternoon with lots of animal
lovers in attendance, taking in various stalls and family fun including
Have A Go Agility, crafts, food and a visit from Goole Fire Brigade.
Over 160 dogs took part in classes from Prettiest Eyes to Best Six Legs.
Proceeds from the event will go towards further welfare work including the Cat Action Day Sat 7th September 11am-2pm and the Dog Action Day Saturday 2nd November 11am-2pm at Trinity Church Clifton Gardens Goole. (DN14 residents only)
Secretary Georgina Petty said "A big thank you to all the hard working volunteers, stall holders, everyone who kindly judged, our enthusiastic comperes Cllr Caroline Fox and Rev Eleanor Robertshaw, Jerry Greens and Laura Taylor of Pawsitive Dog Training who ran the Have a Go Agility for us.
"Grateful thanks also to the Peppers Marquees, The Green Team, Goole Town Council, Chris Miley for the PA system, everyone who attended with their prized pooches, whether they won a rosette or not we hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did. We look forward to making it even bigger and better next year!"
Pictured is Cllr Caroline Fox, Josh Sprakes with Best in Show winner 'Roley' and Rev Eleanor Robertshaw.
2019 is a special year for Goole & District RSPCA as it is our 50th
year as a branch. To celebrate this special anniversary as well as our
annual dog and cat action days we are planning to do extra welfare work.
Please keep an eye open for posters and flyers in the community. Details
of upcoming action days and events can be found on the branch’s website
& Facebook page.
In order to carry out some of our planned welfare projects we are in desperate need of cat carriers. Do you have a spare pet carrier hidden at the back of your garage or shed you no longer use? We would be very grateful if you could donate it to us. Carriers can be dropped off at Petty Motors, Chapel Street, Goole. Goole & District RSPCA are a self-funding branch, run solely by volunteers. Without the wonderful generosity of local people we would not be able to achieve all that we do, please help us to make the next fifty years just as successful as the last half century.
End cottage vets raising funds for local animal charities
Some of the staff at End Cottage are taking part in a Tough Mudder challenge on 7th Sept . They are doing it to support three local charities, one of which is Goole & District RSPCA. If you are able to sponsor them please get in touch with End Cottage vets. Many thanks to everyone taking part and for all who are supporting this worthy cause. Everyone at Goole & District RSPCA are wishing the brave ten good luck.

We can not thank enough the kind people of Goole and District who
have so kindly made and donated so many wonderful blankets to our
appeal. We have had so many donated that we now have enough for the rest
of this year and well into next year. As we have very limited storage
facilities it is with regret that we can not take any more blankets at
the moment. Once again a hugh thank you to everyone who quickly came to
the rescue when we were in need.
Please support the Goole RSPCA
If you would like to make a donation directly into our bank account please call 07599087527 or email email@example.com for details.
