Subject to successful virtual home visit, satisfactory virtual viewing and adoption fee. Domino (M) & Dolly (F)

Domino and Dolly have had a rough start to life, abandoned in a field with nine other kittens of about four different litters. Now aged approximately 13 weeks, these two bonded and inseparable kittens are looking for their forever home as a pair. As they were found already at approximately 8 weeks old, and we estimate little to no interaction with humans during that time, Dolly and Domino are looking for someone experienced who can pour time and energy into building their trust. They need plenty of patience and TLC to gradually help them learn to socialise, trust humans, and continue the work that has been done so far in fostering. They both tentatively accept pets from people they know, and have been stars during their most recent vet appointments, allowing health checks with no issue! However, overall, they are still nervous to be handled. They will require someone experienced with handling kittens that aren’t yet fond of being picked up. The true key to unlocking their sparkling personalities are treats (lick-e-lix) and toys…! Domino, named for his four spots on his back like a domino tile, is more reserved and protective of his little sister. He will however confidently walk up to you to ask for treats! Dolly is named for her yellow and blue eyes, which combined with her calico patterns reminded us of dolly mixture sweets. She is a sweet bundle of fun and loves to run around chasing toys - and her big brother. You’ll often find them curled up with each other, as they do everything as a pair. They’ll walk together with their long fluffy tails side by side, and even prefer to eat from the same bowl when there are multiple food stations available! If one cannot find the other, you will hear them calling out to locate their sibling, communicating with each other in a series of adorable squeaks and chirrups. Considering the amount of love and care Domino and Dolly will require, they may be best suited as the only cats in the home. However, they have shown to be curious and calm when seeing other cats from their area, and may indeed learn from, and interact well with, a calm adult cat. Ideally, they will need to be able to go outside and explore once old enough, and would benefit from someone who is around a good part of the day, to ensure they get plenty of time socialising. We can’t be sure how they would be around children, nor how they would be around dogs, but they may interact well with older children. They will both be chipped, claw-clipped, health-checked, and fully vaccinated ahead of rehoming, and will require neutering at around 6mnths months of age. Could you be their forever family?
